I’m the mother of 6 children, my youngest of whom is 8 weeks old and has DS. I started my blog as a way to keep family and friends updated about him, as he had surgery the day after he was born and spent 2 weeks in the NICU. The blog has since then become a form of therapy for me, and has sort of taken on a life of its own. I’d love to see it added to your blog list here: http://finniansjourney.blogspot.com
Thank you!

You can add us to your blogroll. My blog is slightly different than most in that my daughter Ricki is a teen (almost 14).

I can’t tell you how much finding this website has meant to me!! The photo montages and personal blogs have been fuel to my soul and inspirational! I
recently started a blog about raising my son Reid (19 months) with Down syndrome and his big brother Luke…I would love to have it added! Thanks!

I didn’t even know about this area until someone posted on my blog asking why I wasn’t here LOL. I have 3 children with Ds (5,2.5,and almost 2), 2 of them adopted recently from Ukraine, and another typical little guy too. re still waiting to come home. My oldest, Emma, just went through a “miracle surgery” as we were told it shouldn’t be performed and now she is home just 5 days after this high risk open heart surgery. My blog is about raising my kids, most of whom have Ds, and advocating for those around the world that are still waiting to find “home”.

Thank You So Much!!

I’m a proud mom of two children. My youngest, Nathan, has Down syndrome. He’s amazing and I love to let other parents know what he’s up to and offer hope. Not every day is easy, so it’s so good to find a community of bloggers who share the same struggles. I’d love to join the “club.”

This is our way of keeping family and friends updated on Addison’s progress.

We’re newcomers, but I’d love for more people to see our blog. One of my sisters had a baby with Down syndrome about 5 years ago. Another sister just found out her 6 month old has down syndrome, and I found out my boy, due in October, has it, too. So, we started a joint blog.

I am looking forward to reading this book. I have no idea how to get ahold of it. I’d love to talk to someone who’s experienced what I am. I’m 23 and my youngest son of three which is three yrs old has DS. I’m very visually impaired and being so, no one really wants much to do with us. I’d love for someone to contact me. Thanks for putting such a helpful site out here for people like me who are whoefully unconnected.
June 20th, 2008 at 1:53 pm
It’s not about my 4th with DS, it’s about the whole family, and everyone’s life!

My daughter was born on May 6th 2008. We recently found out she has Down Syndrome (Trysomy 21). I was looking for information on DS because I know nothing about it. I also wanted to see pictures of others like her. Coming to this website has helped me in ways I can’t really explain but I thank you.
